One of the day volunteers that works with the Patient Life Program wrote this poem. I really am touched at how he views the work and the community we live in on the Africa Mercy.
Let's Make a Better World

Come let's make Africa Mercy...
A world where we can have a great communion
A better place where rivers flow with love
Come let's make a world of equality
Where: the blind and the lame
the poor and the rich
the black and the white
Shall feel the same
Where: fountains of love will flow
Strong wind of joy will blow
Sunshine of laughter
As it is in heaven...
