"Sunday Surprises at Church..."

Church on Sunday was a very interesting service.  First of all, there was a pile of blankets on the pulpit area, hiding something.  Pastor Daniel had several of us come up two at a time and uncover each layer of blankets-acting surprised and laughing at each new blanket.

Underneath the pile, was a surprise for the church.  A new generator, key board, and two wireless microphones!  The church went wild with applause!  Apparently they had been borrowing equipment for awhile and they were now able to afford their own!  Pastor Daniel asked Mike to pray over the newly acquired equipment for the church.

Then much to many of our surprise those of us who have been attending the church for more than one Sunday, became members of the church.  What this means in an African church we have yet to discover!
